An enhanced port was released for the Nintendo Switch in April 2017 under the name Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which featured a higher resolution, new characters, 200cc in Time Trials, and a revamped Battle Mode. Ive seen other Mario Kart 8 custom tracks-a remaster of MKDSs Rainbow Road is among the best-but that Vanilla Lake remake is top-notch. Thing is, A) the song plays way too quiet in the game, even after I increased the files volume by 4X twice, and B) it does not repeat. I only had an MP3 and WAV of it so I converted it to BRSTM using brawlbox. The game was released worldwide throughout May 2014. Im trying to add a song thats not available on Brawlcustommusic.
